Italian-style burger with pesto

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 190°C.

Cut the rolls in half. Lightly toast the bottoms of the rolls. Spread the top with pesto.

In a hot frying pan, sear the burgers for 1 minute on each side. Meanwhile, finely slice the mozzarella and dice the sun-dried tomatoes.

Place 1 hamburger on each pesto-coated bun half and season with salt and pepper. Add the sun-dried tomatoes and mozzarella. Bake in the oven for 8 minutes.

Just before serving, place 1 slice of ham on each burger, 1 leaf of lettuce heart, then close the roll by pressing lightly, and serve immediately! (If you don't have sun-dried tomatoes, use fresh, ripe, tasty tomatoes).
